The Massey 48 Foundation exists to prevent colon cancer and save lives by empowering high-risk and underserved communities through education, free screenings, and awareness initiatives that promote early detection and healthy living.
We believe that no individual should lose their life to colon cancer simply because they lacked access to information, healthcare resources, or preventative screenings.
Why Early Detection Matters
Colon cancer is one of the most preventable forms of cancer when detected early. Yet thousands of individuals are diagnosed every year because symptoms go unnoticed or screenings are delayed.
Many communities—especially underserved populations—face barriers such as lack of healthcare access, limited awareness, and financial challenges that prevent early screening.
